Good Scottish Whiskey
« on: July 24, 2014, 02:52:10 AM »
Mentioned in another thread on the G&O, there's nothing like a good 12/15 year single malt - especially after a few beers.

My go to is currently the trusty Glenlivet 12 year - can't drink a glass slowly enough, hits all the right tastebuds for me

No ice, no mixer - just a double in a nice crystal glass  8)

This is my little faithful Shivas, I'm looking at getting the 18 yr aged this weekend to add to my collection:

I have this oen too, looking at getting their blue label sometime too as a top up:

Otherwise I highly recommend this Rum, now it's hot  a fruity mix with Ice is usually best done with Rum as like you I drink my whiskeys unspoilt

I had a pretty decent on the g and o.

After all my research I settled on a bottle of glen morangie quinta ruban.

A great sip whilst enjoying neat. I would obviously never mix it of sully it up with ice.... a small drop of water does nicely though.

Thats it.

I still sip on a lot of Jameson, but when I feel like indulging for a few weeks Ill pick a bottle of Glen Morangie Quinta or just their straight 10 year
