The scientist whose advice prompted Boris Johnson to lock down Britain resigned from his Government advisory position on Tuesday night as The Telegraph can reveal he broke social distancing rules to meet his married lover.

Professor Neil Ferguson allowed the woman to visit him at home during the lockdown while lecturing the public on the need for strict social distancing in order to reduce the spread of coronavirus. The woman lives with her husband and their children in another house.

its just more ammunition provided to get the general public to ignore the government advice and instructions, if people start going out and ignoring the rules it will give the government its get out clause to blame the public for its incompetence.

This wasnt him getting caught, this was a planned event.

I think its been leaked on purpose, its to get the British public frustrated with government hypocrisy and start ignoring the instructions, that gives the government the green light to blame the people for its own
