Title: Pain above knee
Post by: Rammstein on January 05, 2017, 10:03:06 AM
Lately I am having pain just above the right knee (on the outside and inside part) i.e. when putting pressure on it, flexing the muscle whilst sitting for example. I also had it when squatting but I have not squatted in a while.

I have tried rolling out the IT band, the quad muscle, stretching the hip flexor, hamstring, psoas. There is some relief but the issue has not gone away completely.

Firstly, does anybody know what the reason for this pain under these circumstance could be?

Secondly, any other ideas besides what I have been trying already?

Thanks.

Improve your foot and ankle mechanics-faulty movement patterns in the foot area cause tons of knee issues

There could be a number of causes

U should get looked at by a chiro or pt to see what issues your body has

With squats make sure you're not collapsing in the ankles and stressing your knees during

Thanks for the answer. I'll look into the foot/ankle mechanics.

Lately I've been watching some of these clips:
Maybe somebody else finds them useful.
