July 12th, 1996-  Riddick Bowe  VS Andrew GolotA. Low blows caused a huge brawl. I remember watching it live and in the middle of the brawl nothing inside the ring and in the stands they are carrying Lou Duva, One of Golota's corner men on a gurney. Several times they almost dump his body off of it!

I remember both of these lol (not first time round of course). Foreman was completely destroyed after the Ali loss, and was desperate for redemption. It's quite fun to watch him destroy a bunch of taxi drivers, but it didn't really show anything we didn't already know about him. He found redemption a few years later in his awesome fight with Ron Lyle, not to mention getting back in the ring a decade later to KO Michael Moorer. Foreman had massive heart.

The Bowe/Golota fight was ridiculous lol, Golota was such a prick. The footage of Duva almost getting dumped over the balcony by the medics is hilarious.

Some of my favourite matches ever would be:

Gatti vs ward trilogy
Bowe vs Holyfield trilogy
Hagler vs hearns
Hagler vs mugabi
Marquez(Raphael) vs Vasquez trilogy
Barrera vs Morales 1
Castillo vs Corrales 1
Holyfield vs Qawi 1
Foreman vs Lyle
Benn vs Mclellan
Duran vs Barkley

I can think of countless others, if anyone else wants to revisit classic bouts on youtube.

You forgot about Sugar Ray Leonard. Many great classic fights with several you mention above. Great list CF!

My personal favorite. Round 1 is just crazy. The last Ali/Frazier fight in Manilla should be included in every list also.

Yeah Ray has many bouts up there that could be included! His first bout with Duran was probably my favourite. Although the first Hearns bout was amazing too.

the second hearns fight was pretty good to .

that was about the time that Ali went to Japan to fight Inoki.....

both were Bizarre but ABC elected to cover the "foreman fights five" thing..

Ali/Inoki was closed circuit tv only

no clue if they made money for that !

I can't remember it clearly, will have to check YouTube. Was that the one where most think Hearns clearly won, but it resulted in a draw?

yup. Thats it. Hearns knocked SRL down twice.... Hearns rocked badly 2 or 3 times including last round. Very entertaining fight.

Duran vs Iran Barkley was a good one too.
