What do you mean about a package you don’t want delivered?  You have to pick up the remains from the crematory, they don’t ship them to your house via ups.

Nope. My mom passed away just over a year ago. She was cremated. There was a concern that we were going to have to wait a month to have her cremated.

I had another older relative pass 2 months ago. We were told there would be a wait to have his body cremated because they were overwhelmed with bodies, his body sat for 3 weeks.

Also we had to physically pick up the remains from the facility.

Maybe your brother shipped you the remains? Because that makes sense, he wouldn’t want to take them to your house directly because you are self quarantined.  Your story’s are tough to keep track of, like Bhanks are.

The USPS is the only legal way to ship someone's remains domestically. Shipping then out of the country is more complicated.
