People don't really drive long distances here. Maybe a few miles a day (unless their job involves driving) Most just have cars because they lazy or as a status symbol. It's a luxury, not a necessity. Bring on $20 per gallon as it will be nice to have less traffic.

Didn’t take a pic but a Chevron right down the road from where I coach was at $6.24. But for whatever reason they’ve always been about .20 higher than the surrounding stations

$8.72 per gallon is me. I'm in southern germany mate.

And they're debating whether to cut the country off from the second gas pipeline from Russian now (they did it with the first one) so who knows what follow on effects that will have.

Funk51, is that still going on?  I live just about 10-miles south on the Jersey side right on the river and have heard all strange things like this over the years.  The local community FB pages are always plastered with questions from folks not knowing what the sounds are?

Finally cracked $200 for a tank in the Merc today  :D

Price equivalent is US6.43/gallon

My estimate for Christmas-Jan period was US6.84/gallon so I’m 6 weeks late and 7% off. Close enough IMO.

Once this deflationary phase finishes, the following inflationary period is where everybody begins to get fucked up. I’m a broken record but 2022 is the year we get fucking wrecked and none of this shit is coming back.

I understand.  I agree those prices are outlandish and the taxation is awful. But the taxes will not be rescinded:/

That's why taxation is theft.

They keep raising them and never reduce them.

This is why a sane person would never vote for additional taxes, no matter the cause.

The government has too much money already, they should learn how to utilize it better, instead of wasting it on silly things like studies on self flushing toilets.

Our gas prices will be like Norway if the Dem's continue to be in power.

$4.49 here for 86 octane. Seems to have stabilized the last week.
