But to further illustrate my point also if the guy has huge delts huge chest and back .. They will creat the illusion of smaller arms
Eg heath yes he has big arms but because his chest is lacking for pro alread good arms will look even better
On the opposite end of the spectrum we have markus, branch, to some extent johnnie huge chest and back makes their arms look smaller

The only guy who compared size wise was Wolf. Remember Toney and Wolf are 3-4 inches taller than all the other guys. I met an off season Heath at the expo that year and his arms although huge were nowhere near Freemans' or Wolf's. If Toney can't have 23' arms then nobody does.

But Toney is tall and wide, long arms so the number is going to be higher tha your average manlet.

I have seen both Toney Freeman and Paul Dillet up close, both who are around the same height. Dillet definetly had arms it least an inch bigger than Freeman! Dillet and others claimed his arms were 23 inches!

Paul Dillet was at his height in the 90s, before Toney got his Pro card---Paul was 280+ at 6'1-6'2, Toney was competing at what, 260+ at 6'2? I guess Paul would have bigger arms...Also Paul didn't have big peaks, his arms were full and round, like Sergio's.

I wonder how they would compare at their respective bests. As both are probably the most symmetrical "big men", ie ones with pleasing lines.

You also have to take in the detail of the arms, and shape---V taper...a great V-taper/small waist makes a good size arm look bigger.

In terms of detail, Phil Heath is a good example---during his Rookie yr, his arms were just as big as Darrem's, or maybe it "seemed" that way, due to detail.

Your arms are vascular, thus giving a image of size as well.

yup.  two guys that train at my gym, one has very wide shoulders and the other has very narrow shoulders. they are both about 250, and you would swear the narrow shoulder guys arms are an inch bigger than the wide shouldered guy. they measured them one day, and the wide shouldered guy had arms one inch bigger. they couldn't believe it.

Paul is fuller and just as lean and dry, both have pleasing lines but Toney would destroy him from the rear shots, so it would be a good comparison but Dillet would still get the edge
