Orville was having some kind of surgery that went terribly wrong and ended up in a coma.

Swedish Viking:
Last i heard, he came out of it ok, but his bbing career had to come to an end.  Of course, the doctors said the drug use had nothing to do with his condition.  Funny how pretty much every single pro to retire due to medical problems, somehow slips medicals problems stemming from their drug use.  It seems as if everytime someone goes down, they will come out and say it wasn't because of drug use, as if the insane chemical warfare on their body had nothing to do with their apparent poor condition.  Just because 1 thing is a direct result of something that is not drugs, doesn't mean that the underlying cause isn't the overall toxicity and lack of good health of the individual.
