My nomination for October Dog of the Month: My Boston Terrier, "Three".

Here are me and my little guy, a 13 pound Boston Terrier named Three.  His original owner was a Dale Earnhardt fan and his wife forbade him to name the dog "Dale", so he named him after the number of the man's car!



And another, with his favorite College basketball team in the background!



He's smart, funny and LOVES Dorian Yates.  I watch whatever bodypart I'm training on the Dorian DVD before going to the gym.  Normally, he doesn't care about TV or what's on, but when I put in "Blood & Guts", he's all eyes and ears.

He sits right in front of the TV and is hypnotized until I turn it back to regular TV.

  He's a true meat-head that eats clean all week, and eats junk on Saturday night, just like Daddy (me)!  And he's shredded...veins in the abs and everything.  All he needs is a shave and some Pro Tan and he's ready to go!

He also likes the Dallas Cowboys, but football only holds his interest for a minute or two.

LOL he sounds like an excellent candidate for Getbig's Dog of the Month.   8) 

I'll vote for him next month IF Sin's Chuka is not in the mix.  If Chuka runs, then he will have my vote for November.

Cutest little man ever!!!! :D

I am glad, however, that he doesn't do THOSE things to stuffed animals! ;)

Cute dog


My friends has two bostons that I've known for 8 years.

The oldest one "Jocko" aka Beanie....passed away last week.

He was 14 or 15...but....the last few months you could tell he wasn't doing well.  His hearing was gone & his vision wasn't much better.  The only thing that worked 110% was his sniffer.  Anyways...he would run out in the middle of the field & just stand there.  He wouldn't move for hours & looked lost half the time.  He always had a bad ticker & was born with a real bad murmur.  He wasn't even supposed to live very long because it was so bad.  I guess Vets or Doctors are not always right.

Anyways...he injured his leg somehow & when they took him in....there was no way he would survive being put under...so instead of suffering...they had to put him down.

There's many 'looks' of the Boston Terrier.  There's a skinny version & a stocker version.  There's also two different head styles.  He looks more like the Boston in Geo's avatar.

Yeah, he snorts a little when he gets excited.  Not as bad as some I've heard, but he is small, even for a small breed.
