Obscure Q about feminine hygiene:
« on: November 05, 2015, 04:02:07 PM »
Good evening.
I am Montague - long time listener; first time caller.
Please excuse the absurdity of my question...

Approximately a year ago, we discovered a "used" feminine napkin methodically placed atop the toilet paper dispenser in the restroom at work.
This same incident occurred repeatedly about five or six more times over the course of several weeks.

Having grown disgusted of said practice, my department printed and posted a sign in said restroom rather diplomatically encouraging said offender(s) to properly dispose of said napkins.

Since then, we have not had a problem with reoccurrence until today, which prompted me to conduct a diligent Google search in hope of answers. My results emanated in the drizzling shits.

And so, I have turned to the higher power that is the Girly board in search of some understanding.

Could this be a "culture thing?"
My company is the equivalent of the United Nations.

Could it be someone pulling a rib?

Or, could it be some filthy, disgusting pig who is simply indifferent to the laws of hygienic and sanitary civility?

Has anyone here ever encountered this, or a similar issue?

Thanks in advance!!

Sometimes women will leave something used UNWRAPPED in the waste basket, which I find utterly gross. None of it should be flushed.  Clogs up the works.  The "timing" in your story doesn't quite add up being someone with a "regular cycle" :-\

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the above replies.

What made me wonder about the possibility of it being a cultural matter is that I saw this happen one other time at another facility in which I worked. Both places each had a female employee of the same ethnicity. I'd prefer not to mention the specific ethnicity so as not to mistakenly come off as acusatory, but I will tell you that it is not a common one in my geographic area.

It also may have occurred more at my current location, but perhaps someone else discarded it before I saw it.
Housekeeping cleans each bathroom several times throughout the day.

Okay, I wasn't going to mention it, but since you put it out there...

The two women were of Middle Eastern descent, although not both Muslim.
I also seem to remember one of my "findings" occurring shortly after one of the ladies had used that restroom.

I wish we knew for certain who it is.
We need to catch them red-handed.

No pun.

Yep.
I worked for a very brief time as a professional wrestler (just at the indy level), and longer as a magician. I still regularly use vernacular from both in normal conversation. Fortunately, I've been able to thus far avoid using Getbig lingo.
