this is true. i seriously doubt he can turn it around at this point tho. he's been on the decline for a couple of years now and it seems like the window to his best days is closing.

Agreed except Silvio will get 5th beating Gustavo. Love for the guy to prove me wrong but Gustavo is no longer a top 5 guy at the ASC or Olympia. Strictly a genetics matter. Can't win with great bis and chest, wide waist and a blocky physique. :-\

VERY true Christina. It would have been nice to see some new and more faces up there - only 13 male competitors??
And how about last year's Arnold Amateur winner, Tarek El Setouhi, who subsequently got his Pro Card. Why didn't he get an invite? That would have been a nice gesture!

I love how they "take a year off" competing and concentrate on "improving" their physique for the Olympia and actually come in looking like shit and even worse than their rookie year (Dennis Wolf for example).

Resting seemed to work well for Phil Heath when he sat out the Olympia for two years.

Hopefully Hide get an invitation to Arnold Classic 2009.
All top 5 of Ironman 2009 get invitations except Hide.
Why didn't he get an invite?
And Hide is one of best posers in the pro industry.

But he always gives me an impression of not muscular physic due to his long legs and arms.
But Still I think between Grapefruit raper or Victor when these two bring good condition.
If these two are smooth, needless to say, Xman should take it.
