This happens because the URL for the pic is too long and/or contains characters that the DB thinks is unsafe. I typically found that photobucket URLs were particularly troublesome for the GB DB. It forced me to switch to imgur, which was fine until imgur blacklisted Getbig and now the images don't work (they used http_referrer as the blacklist).
So now I use tinypic.com. I am sure something will happen to scuttle that too.
Oh, and Princess. I get all this basically from observational forensic debugging, which is inefficient. If you really want me to help technologically, I am more than happy. I am familiar with Cloudflare hosting, have forgotten more about MySQL than most people know and am fluent in several computer languages (PHP among them, I am sad to say). I am willing to talk to Ron on the phone or forward my LinkedIn profile, which will bolster my claims.
