I think gays, like Bay, think they have won a small victory with announcements like this.Normal-minded people do not care if someone is gay. What I find hilarious, is that Hollywood would fold, if all of the gay leading men chose to come out. Not just Hollywood, but sports as well.Tom Cruise, Tom Brady, Hugh Jackman, The Rock, Henry Cavill...etc...It goes on and on. Fake beard wives and girlfriends (it's an actual industry) sprinkle in a few kids......anything to keep the greased-wheel moving. People believe that finding out that aliens exist, will send the world into a panic, imagine knowing that half of your "macho" movie stars and athletes, are really penis puffers.....
He is not very good and probably thinks he is getting cut. This coming out will either protect him from being cut (for the backlash) or will give him an excuse and maybe open up other financial avenues for him as a victim of homophobia.
Where is the evidence that Tom Cruise and Tom Brady are gay? Aaron Rogers is the guy who needs to come out.
Tom Cruise (not even his real name) is a devout Scientologist. Being gay is the least of his worries.I'm sure John Travolta is there to console him.
There are pics of Travolta kissing men on the lips. No such thing on Cruise and he has 3 ex wives who certainly would have said if he was gay. Tom Brady is married to a super model and had a kid with an even more hot woman before that.
Dont ruin Shippos fantasy with the truth.
Perfect example of how they have you fooled. Kids don't mean shit.
Now the top selling jersey. Which getbiggers ordered one?
'He said, "I hope you guys know that I’m really not doing this for attention."'
You guys are coming up with some doozies lately. Shippo, Persian Shizzo, Shitbag Shizzo.....I'm flattered.
What exactly are you disagreeing with? I find it hard to believe that you are too dim to understand the significance of representation. The first woman to do X (like sit on the supreme court). The first black person to do X (like enroll in a segregated school). The first Jewish person to do X (I didn't know s/he was Jewish). How about the first man on the moon? Does that resonate with you? If you really need someone to explain the significance of an excluded minority being the first to do X, Y, or Z then your education has failed you. Models matter—particularly for young people who never imagined X was possible. First models also matter for older people who may have their minds opened and attitudes adjusted. “I didn’t now an X person could do Y.” It may sound simple but history has show that there are a lot of ignorant people out there. If you are not interested, fine. Move on. Many people are interested and find such announcements newsworthy, inspiring, and (looking back) life changing. It was just a few years ago that George Bush, in a presidential debate with candidate John Kerry, claimed that he had never met a gay person—even though his Vice Presidential running mate Dick Cheney, had an openly lesbian daughter. So, yes, public representation matters... in high profile venues like sports. See Jackie Robinson.
