I've had this book for years ( five finger discount from University), but never got around to reading it.  And I just found it again.

I read it in 1987. Nothing he said came to pass. Not long after the book came out all the incredible things exploded out of silicon valley and Japan withered from cheaper competition in Asia. It is an interesting read.
