The Funny thing is that, the reason I went to my Very First Olympia this year is because of Bob Chick.
In a thread regarding last years O. He responded to me that instead of relying on other peoples' views I should attend and see it for myself.
So, I did.

I loved it all! It was exciting to know that Ronnie was retiring, would Jay be able to hold off Martinez or Wolfe. What about the giant slayers D. Henry and Silvio? Would the XMAN bring the game?

The only real disappointment was the first place finisher.
If the lights killed/enhanced Jays' physique, then the lights did the same thing for all other competitors.

And again, the show WAS NOT SOLD OUT.
I walked down from row R to row A and watched the saturday night finals. Lots of empty seats to put butts in.

it was sold out . . . but after pre-judging people decided that it was a farce and decided to enjoy the rest of what vegas had to offer on saturday night.

I've never been to an O that is even close to appearing sold out yet, there are always plenty of empty seats. With that we must also recall they give tons of free tickets away to military and other comped seats......

Sold out in my mind means there are no more tickets to be sold.
The military are very busy right now, so they can't use their tickets, which would be a solid block of seats I would imagine.

With that being said, the military is busy, comped seats, there were blocks of seats all around the arena, to seat 100(being generous) all around the arena.

With Bob earlier going on about the PDI comping seats, etc, etc, etc...it is business as usual. But he did state SEVERAL TIMES that the event was SOLD OUT.

Those of us who had paid over $100. for the finals were able to walk down from the "nosebleed" section to premium seats of our choice.

Being there, who should have won.

I believe Wolfe should have won with Vic taking second.

Between those two, I wouldn't have been disappointed if it went either way, I would have spent money to come back next year to watch the battle.

Spoke with Dave Henry who was happy to be in the money. He sent me over to talk to his wife at another booth at the expo.
All of the pros who I spoke with and took pics with me were very professionial and courteas.
I took a pic with Jay when he came out of the press conference,wished him lucked., He looked me in the eye, shook my hand took a pic with me when I wished him luck for his title. A class act.
