To give a rundown:
*Ozzies have been pretty good at following restrictions and Covid rules.
*Melbourne at first flaunted the rules and ended with multiple lockdowns and then finally even the dumbest people pulled into line and take restrictions seriously.
*Our breakouts initially occurred because of international travellers either skipping quarantine on purpose or had a failed quarantine due to our own processes.
*quarantine processes were improved, reduced the breakdouts and reduced people finding a way around the system.
*Current breakouts are international people doing quarantine for 14 days, getting out, having Covid and spreading. In other words the 14 days isn’t enough.
*When we have a breakout they lock certain areas down quick which has worked well.
The majority of Ozzies don’t want to take the vaccine. We see it doesn’t work as planned and given this will be seasonal and change next Winter (northern flu season), I think most prefer to wait for v2.0.
