Try Some My Old Bodybuilding Recipes 1998-2002
« on: August 17, 2021, 08:00:01 PM »
Thought I'd play with the Way back Archive.  I actually used these to sell Vitamin Power products when I was a distributor

https://web.archive.org/web/20021208085724/http://caliberfitness.net/recipes.htm

Here's a few of my bodybuilding and diet recipes that I used over the past 6 years.  More coming soon including my line of  high protein vegan recipes and  which I'm currently working on!!!  These recipes are from my original web site which I created in 1998 to put together training ideas and nutritional information from around the world.  That website was the foundation for this business and has allowed me to take my passion for bodybuilding and nutrition to the next level.

Vince Goodrum Power Shake 2001

20 grams pure egg white protein

20 grams micellar casein

2 tablespoons hemp oil

10  grams of creatine citrate

8 oz of  skim milk or water

Instructions

Same as the  Power Shake 2000.  This product should still come up thick  but there will be no more lumps in it due to the micellar casein in it.  This formula  was meant for traveling to the gym without worrying about spoilage, just add add water and give it a good shake.

Vince Goodrum Power Shake 2000

40 grams pure egg white protein

8oz of low-fat yogart (any flavor)

2 tablespoons hemp oil

8oz of whole milk

5 grams of micronized creatine

Instructions:

Put all of the ingredients in a heavy duty blender and blend for 2 minutes.  It should come out in a smooth texture with a few lumps possibly.  Drink immediately.  Perfect for a post workout recovery!!!

Breakfast Blaster

1 packet of Carnation Instant Breakfast

12 oz whole milk

30 grams of  whey protein

 Instructions

Pour ingredients in a glass and mix with a spoon.  This is a quick and easy way to get a good breakfast with little cleanup

Original Vince Goodrum Power Shake

2 servings of  Strawberry Whey Protein Powder (Equal to 50 grams protein)

12 oz skim milk

1 banana

1 tablespoon of Hershey chocolate syrup

1/2 cup of walnuts

Instructions:

Put milk and protein powder in blender first and blend for 30 seconds.  Add all remaining ingredients and blend for 1 minute.   Enjoy!!

Big Bird Gyro

8 oz of skinless, boneless chicken breast

1 serving of fat free ranch dressing

Ms. Dash seasoning

Lettuce

Radish

1 slice of pita bread

Instructions:

Grill chicken with no marinade(Recommend using George Foreman Grill).  Chop up some lettuce and radishes and sprinkle it with Ms. Dash.  Place cooked chicken onto pita bread, add ranch dressing and lettuce and radishes.

Vince Goodrum's Hardgainer Shake  (The Shake Shape Shifter )

1 chopped up sheep liver (yes...its not a typo folks)

16 oz of applejuice

4 whole eggs (pasteurized)

10 grams of powdered creatine

Instructions:

Mix it up in a heavy duty blender and slug it down as fast as you can.  This concoction does not taste good but its an updated old school recipe for putting on hardgainer size and you will see results in a short time.  I do recommend you to drink this night before bedtime since the body repairs and rebuilds itself while you sleep.  When I had just started bodybuilding and didn't have too much money, I had to be innovative in my nutrition and frankly this is one of my most innovative ones I ever concocted.

Vince Goodrum's 2 minute Oatmeal Mush

1 cup of Quaker instant oatmeal (cooked)

1 serving of vanilla whey protein powder (equal to 20 grams protein)

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1 tablespoon of Hershey's chocolate syrup

Instructions:

Put all ingredients except cranberries in blender and blend for 30 seconds.  This will come out in a smooth mixture.  Add cranberries and serve.  This recipe taste so good, you won't believe its good for you

Vince, what’s your thoughts on Leo Rex? Aka Laith Algaz. Good guy or grifter? He seems to not like your friend Dave Palumbo.
