Almost all the hate crimes are fakes or just imagined. A while back some black at a college campus, iirc, saw a banana peel in a tree and there was a big investigation. Another time someone saw a shoestring in a tree, same thing.
Pretty much 100% of the supposed antisemitic attacks are fake, often phone or email threats are traced to Israel or some mentally ill Jew in the US. Like swastikas painted in the wrong direction and so on.
Jim Goad writes a lot about all the fake hate crimes. Like someone punching people in the face in NYC which is then blamed on the "last gasp of the MAGA crowd" but then rurn out to 100% black attacks, on whites (but it's not racism, blacks can't be racist).
