im going on holiday with some friends in 4 weeks
I need to drop 14 lbs
open to diet suggestions
im 242 lbs about 12 percent bf at a guess

...honestly I've never tried to lose that much weight that fast...I go Mon-Fri strict healthy {except for beers after softball on Tuesdays 8)} then I eat what I like on Weekends.
I'll drop around 2 lbs a week when I do that.
I have a trip to Newport Rhode Island followed by my yearly excursion to Myrtle Beach SC. coming up in August and I'm going to start my diet on Monday.I plan on dropping 10-12 lbs.

Quick weight loss that I've done...not saying it's good for you but it worked for me.
...3 days a week for 2 weeks you only eat once a day and make it healthy...I did tue,wed,thur.

Honestly by day 3 your shot..very lethargic and don't want to lift.

Fastest way I ever lost weight FAST was zero fat / carbs - chicken / broccoli 5x a day small portions, shit load of water, and workout 2x a day.
Morning 45 -60 min treadmill w heavy clothes on. Night training w lifting and 30 min cardio after.

Same concept except I do one meal and did my cardio and lifting in one shot.
...chicken and broccoli or chicken and salad with lo-fat dressing.

try running your own business with two young kids a large dog that needs an hours walk every day

If im in a party or social setting on the weekend - I try to be strategic about it without being antisocial.
I cant give up meat or booze so what I do is just eat steak or burgers and drink straight vodka whiskey or wine.
Maybe ill have veges but I skip the starch and the beer and the fat and bloat seems to stay away somewhwat.
