Dude his forearms were gargantuan before. Not sure about the rest of his body, that's hard to see in layers on layers of uniform.
Monster calves, though.
-
Who cares if he shrunk, look at her... DAYum, how would it be to have that ass sitting on your lap like that... sadly, right now I can only imagine :(
-
McGuire lost 32-35 pounds, easy. He looks much better. Although when you're filthy rich, it's easy to look good.
-
it would be complete bullshit if they don't let guys like sosa, mcgwire, and bonds into the hall of fame
-
Between the money, the hot wife, and the kids, I am sure ol' Mac will find something to take his mind off not being let into it.
-
Must be nice to be rich. ;D

You'd think with his money he'd have a better looking gold digger than her

Come on, you ever see his arms when he was playing with the Cardinals. He is a shell of himself.

Mark my words right now, none of these guys gets elected to the Hall of Fame on the 1st ballot.

Baseball players on steriods is a total waste. Its like shooting blanks. No better then a billiards player or a tennis player on gas. I can see hockey or football as they are contact sports plus it helps them recover from injuries....but baseball??? Come on :( Waste of juice.

definitely WILL be bs if he doesn't make the hof.
the only he thing he did different to any other multi million dollar athlete was be relatively honest. :-\

You think it's easy to play 162 games a year.

Thats not his wife from the WOrld Series during the Earthquake is it? I remember her being ass ugly...

i'm from St. Louis and i've seen this guy in person when he was in his prime around 1998 and he really wasn't that big except for the forearms, the media greatly exaggerated this guy's size, in person he was around 6'4" and maybe 240-245 with big arms but nothing else.

Hot looking wife. I'd put a hurtin on that azz for dayssssss!
-
Why should he get into the Hall of Fame? He was a crappy
defensive player and only a 263 career hitter. However,
he'll get in based on the fact he hit over 500 career homers.
That's basically an automatic pass.
-
Hall of fame or hall of fools? Is there a difference? Bah!
Doom disapproves

Sarc, supposedly he had 19" arms, his back looked pretty broad too. He did have the popeye forearms. He sure looks deflated in these pics.

Exactly, that and 70 in 1998. 500 taters doesn't mean what it used to mean. Guys like Eddie Murray, Rafael Palmiero, guys who played forever getting 500+. Luis Gonzales hitting 57 in 2001. What a sad joke.

Here's one reason why he's a first ballot pick...........
But he does needs to re-hire me as his trainer!

Bet you he doesn't make it first ballot. The writers are going to make a statement about his steroid use. That dumb stuff he said at the Congressional hearing made him look like a fool.

its a hell of a lot easier to play 162 baseball games a year as opposed to 20 or so football games. the list of injuries and severity of injuries is not even close. the fact that Cal can play what was it two thousand or so games and set the record for most consecutive games played and the record in the NFL is like two hundred something by Favre supports this. also just the mere fact that the regular season is only eighteen weeks with one bye week goes to show how tough the sport is. if baseball was so physically tough they wouldnt be able to play as many games as they do.

Are you fucking kidding me?

No matter how you want to judge his comments, he's still going to be a first round battot pick!

No way buddy go swing a bat all day and throw a ball. theres good reasoning for the healing. And strength wise to look at how well these guys hit on roids. Look at sammy when he layed off or the 1st basemen from NY Yanks. Giambi the guy couldnt hit worth shit for a while off the gear. yeah he got his swing back but not as dangerous as when he was on gear.. baseball is a killer sport on rotater cuffs and shoulder injuries.

I wouldn't be so sure. I've heard a number of commentators say he's not a lock based on his testimony.

Yeah. No question it helped him, just like it helped Bonds. Bonds doubled his homerun production from 1 HR ever 16 at bats to 1 every 8 at bats while he was on the sauce. Huge advantage.
-
monster estrogen build up in the gut!
-
he was always a great home run hitter. hit 49 his rookie year, a record. other than home runs not that great of a player at all.
btu DAMNNNNNNNNNNNnn i would love to be tappin that on the regular

I just find it amusing and absurd that any adult would come before a congressional committee and utter “I’m not here to talk about the past” in response to questioning. What did he think he was there to talk about? We all understand not wanting to incriminate himself in the face of obvious steroid use, but come on . . . Any low budget PR firm or law school graduate could have crafted a better response.
The guy is a class A moron. Talk about dumb jocks; I know dumb bodybuilders who are smarter.

I completely agree. Even falling on his sword would have sounded better. Or he could have lied like Palmeiro and Sosa. :)
-

I bet neither him, nor Sosa make it first ballot. Electing those guys on the first ballot would send the wrong message to fans and to players who may think about using a banned substance.

Sosa pretended he couldn't understand or speak english. What a friggin joke.

haha youre right. I laughed out loud when I saw that. The dude spoke english rather well when he was hitting 500 ft home runs....he goes to talk to the government....he doesn't speak english at all.
And Palmeiro lies to the Grand Jury!
What a wierd interview crowd that was on that day and their responses.

Man, when are they going to be able to really come up and with the goods and put the hammer down on that arrogant, purjory, lying, tax fraud, adultering, fag sounding Barry Bonds?

Andro dude, get it right. 8) ::)

Bonds does talk like a homo. I've been waiting ages for someone to bring that up. :D
I dunno about McGwire going to the hall of fame, but Bonds is first ballot. He was a 40/40 guy even before he juiced up and would have still hit 500 homeruns even if he didn't juice up. Hope he signs with an AL team, he would be able to surpass Hank Aaron easy.

Bonds won't be a first ballot pick simply because he's an asshole!

He is from San Francisco :-X!!

yeah, I actually cheer for Bonds.
I know he has a rep as a prick, but I think he is the best baseball player since the 1960s
Perhaps he'll sign with the Angels and I'll get to see him break the record live. that would be kinda cool. if he decided to DH, he could play another 2 seasons

Bonds was a great 5 tool player when he was young.
