This season (part2) has been pretty weak. The show has reached it's expiry date. Should have just ended the show when Bjorn died.

To me, the REAL series ended when Ragnar died.
The continuation regarding the stories of Ragnars Sons is like Vikings Light or more like a spinoff-series to me.

First few seasons were fantastic. Season 4 when they started doing the double-seasons and Ragnar got all drugged out with that Chinawoman is where it went downhill / Dan Hill for me. Then Ragnar died and I'm not sure why it's still been going for years still.

Not the same quality or as interesting after the demise of Ragnar, that's for sure.
Ragnar was the series.

I've watched because it's a decent show, but nothing like what it was.
