i did it for about 2 months in 89. then i realized that the DJ made 3 times as much and didn't have people smashing beer bottles on his head, so I did that instead. never wanted to be a bartender, I don't like serving people.

a decent bouncer should be no less than 6"0 and must play the role well. I know a Club down in Miami where the 4 bouncers are 6'6 or above and they look scary as shit. I heard they barely had problems at this club.....hahahhahaha

I did it for about six months back in 2000 - it was alright - met my (future) wife when I was on the doors one night - about a month later the club closed down because the owners had run out of money and the building it was housed in hasn't opened since. Fate, you see.

Thank you for pointing this out - we had 3 drive bys in as many months. Though the gangland culture is by far smaller than say in the USA it was enough for me say fuck this for a game of soldiers and called it a day. The problem we had on the door is that this place was frequented by all the Manchester gangs from Donnington, Gooch, The Pitbull Crew, Salford,Cheetham Hill and the moment you knocked any of them back the took it as a sign of disrespect and wouldnt hesitate it pulling out a piece and making there stance known.....now I dont know about you fuckers but the only man that im aware of who can dodge bullets is a man who has a red cape, blue tights and a big fucking S symbol on his chest. I dont fit that description so I got out of dodge while I didnt have any extra holes put in my body lol.
