Does Paul Weller hate Rick Buckler?

Great band. I hope they will. But Buckler has not spoken to Weller for over 20 years.
Weller said " No way will the original Jam ever reunite".

As for Buckler he is managing a bunch of bands and new Artists now

Rick just never forgave Weller for breaking up the band and says it was the bitterest Pill for Rick to take.
The Jam broke up at the height . So they never entered the downward spiral that afflicts so many bands late in their career.
Not to many bands can say that

Here is what i heard from a pretty good source=Weller once played some Jazz oriented demos to Rick and Rick mentioned it was "nothing good or special"
Supposedly that was the start of Weller's exit and distancing from Buckler.

Exactly and it was predicted by Rick! saying his new ideas dont sound so great.
But the Jam was kick ass and no one will take that away. Ever

After the split his personality became more obvious and so full of him and his new music

Paul Weller went very extreme left in his politics. I am not a big fan of his later music but his ideas were not wrong. The Jam i loved .. one of the Better Bands of that time who really could put it together. Still...won´t top the Stranglers.
