I believe Pellius is being sincere and he owned up to the obvious dye job.I consider the matter closed.Just crazy dry/thick hair texture.Protip, your hair would look better if you just grew it out to 4-5 inches to cover the ears rather than the weird short everywhere but sideburns samurai/shogun look you rock.Look at owen wilson or the like.

Excellent visual observation. Being a bald man myself, I tend to favor the hairless look. That photoshop suggests Pellius missed an opportunity to become a baldheaded superstar on Getbig. Where ever his is now, he surely appreciates you thinking of him.

Having stood face to face with Pellius my impression was this…

1. Comically bad dye job in person.

2. Even worse haircut in person. So bad no respectable hair club type place would let you out their door looking like that with one of their wigs.

Remember also, it is fucking humid as shit here in Hawaii, especially the side of Oahu where he lived compared to other parts of the same island. A wig would have been torturous, especially at the gym.

It appeared he dyed his hair black. Black is a difficult color to make look real. For one thing, in nature there is no true black. Good hair coloring involves using an array of shades to look natural. It is also possible he used a tint as opposed to dye. Tinted hair looks even less natural. Regardless, his hair style, cut and color were his signature look. This coupled with his height and fitness level would make it easy to pick him out in a crowd.....oh, and his ears too. In looking at photos of his siblings recently, it appears prominent ears is a family trait.
