Honestly. I mean someone please explain to me why anyone would align themselves with the left? Why would you vote as a modern day lib/dem?

Im conservative by default.  If I were to layout all the issues I probably only care about a small percentage of them to begin with and of those there's a few that I feel conservatively about. For the most part all politicians are full of shit but I happen to believe in law and order as opposed to reform. So if I had to vote id vote for the republican.

But how in the F on earth can you justify voting for a dem at this point? Id really like to know. Can someone explain to me what Im missing?
