Eating Disorders and Bodybuilding
« on: January 15, 2022, 08:22:48 AM »

Everyone laughs when I talked about Anorexia but eating and body image disorders are a real issue in fitness. I am going to give Nick serious props for actually addressing this. You can never be big enough or lean enough you can't win but you can get obsessed and hurt yourself through starvation overtraining on the flip side you can have issues from excessive calorie intake going back and forth between the two extremes is even more stressful on your system.

Stop looking in the mirror and taking selfies and weighing yourself.

It is good the you reminded yourself of this. Now all you have to do is practice what you preach and you'll be a healthier person.  ;)

Exactly! People with body dysmorphic disorder don't see themselves as others see them and as they truly are.

I must admit, I am a bit obsessive about weighing myself. This is particularly true since I bought a scale like Bhank's which supposedly provides a wealth of information about one's body, not just what you weigh, but your body fat percentage, visceral fat level, water weight, metabolic age (I love this one because I am consistently in my 20's and early 30's) and strength levels.

Bhanks is finally finding purpose.  He listed all the reasons he thinks Jesus is gay but believes Nick Trigil speaks wisdom.

Good video. What Trigili is missing is that nobody go beyond the limits just for " the fun of it " without having a childhood trauma. People with normal childhood, are kind of normal people. They have normal jobs, they live the normal life.

Ali or Tyson or GSP or even Bezos and all those hard working, crazy motivated people in every field been through alot in their childhood. Alot of fighters/bodybuilders been bullied, raped, mocked for their appearances and so on. I see that in my job, some guys work like crazy and save and want the most money they can get and all of them arent normal. Some grew below poverty, some lack appeal and charisma and think their money is gonna compensate it. It's the way it is with those who push the limits.

My cousin was a fat teen, his classmates and family made fun of him the whole time and one day he started training and got ripped as fuck. He got to low bf and maintained it to the point of having vertigo, dizziness etc He only stopped when he fainted. Now he is more balanced and doesn't go extreme.

Id be more concerned with the trenbolnga turning these kids homosexual or making them make poor sexual decisions

this kid along with most people who bring this topic up - "eating disorders"  - have not or have competed on a low level - nutrient intake and timing is a real thing -

Everyone who practices bodybuilding is body dysmorphic.

He was obsessed with how he looked called body dysmorphia.

You have said numerous times you battle anorexia. No heterosexual male has anorexia

That is anorexia It nearly killed me. Tristan clearly was suffering as well but fuck it let him die for it? Hell no I am happy to see Trystan realize he had a problem he was literally killing himself. Organ failure is a real and scary thing.

I agree with you Hanky. Obesity and anorexia are clear signs of mental weakness.

Let’s not overlook Brian Wood-Healy Hankins propensity for assaulting women.
