wrist pain in curls

whenever i start to go heavy in incline curls or barbell curls...my wrists get pain...almost like they are bending back too much

any advice?

I've noticed this too.

Perhaps try curls with an EZ bar and see if that is more comfortable on your wrists.

I've also started doing reverse close grip chins as a bicep exercise. Seems to not place much stress on the wrist.
No doubt about it...

Use an EZ bar, and do some forearm work as well.

Might try hammer/thumbs up DB curls. That and reverse BB curls, which are a very good exercise for the whole chain of muscle, starting with the grip to the biceps. Actually a exceptional bicep builder in it's self. Wrist strength also. Good Luck.

Get some wrist wraps or try to "warm-up" your wrists by rotating your fists.
