You beat me to the punch. I was going to post about it. It is fucking insane. Michael Wood, Oregon OSHA Administrator is proposing this permanent mandate. https://www.oregon.gov/newsroom/pages/NewsDetail.aspx?newsid=54264

Supposedly, the Governor can't renew the current mandate.

I am a law abiding citizen and not a big risk taker when it comes to my health, so I was fine with wearing a mask where required under the current directive, despite how uncomfortable I find it. But making it a permanent requirement pisses me off. If the legislature and Governor Brown allow this proposal....I think all hell will break loose. Oregon already has some of the most stringent rules and mandates in the country in response to the pandemic.

I may have to give up my seat on the left and move to the right on this issue.
