On the first Ratt EP, that's her leg in the photo. Stephen Pearcy told an interesting story about the shot. They bought a bunch of rats at a pet store for the photo shoot. They were doing the shot in a dingy warehouse. When they were doing the shot, another rat (not one they bought) came out and joined the other rats in the actual photo used!

She was an (if not THE) original video girls, especially for the 80s hair-metal bands. If I recall, she was also in Whitesnake's first video, "Still of the Night".

I always liked this song better than "Here I Go Again" anyway.

I was 13-19 between ‘83 and ‘89. Hard rock and metal was/is my life.

She is most assuredly not a legend.

Exact same age.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying "legend" in the same regard as the musicians of the time.

I'm talking about the impact MTV / music videos had on the music business at the time. It changed everything at the time, like the Internet did later on.

She was right in the middle of it all, appearing in the infamous Whitesnake vid, among others.

She was featured on two Ratt covers, the EP (legs only) and Out of the Cellar (and in the beginning of the band’s “Back For More” video) and then in a few Whitesnake videos from that band’s eponymously-named, and breakout, album.

Very, very far from a legend.

She married David Coverdale. Spent a couple of years ruining his life and then faded into obscurity.

Like Pam Anderson, I guess her lasting legacy is having fucked a bunch of rock stars. And OJ Simpson.
