What do they consider “fast food”? There’s got to be an end around I’m sure.

Why should fast food workers be treated differently than any other job? Minimum wage should be across the board not just for those in fast food.

Maybe it's a weaselly way to reduce fast food consumption by increasing prices? It would be more direct to just institute a fat tax.

This post explains why stores can’t just charge whatever they want. Price increases affect demand.

Same goes for the price of labor. When you artificially increase it, demand for it goes down. The problem is that Socialists don’t accept economic law.

Did you know that the price on everything you buy is an offer made by the store to you.

Its not a fixed price
Its called "an invitation to treat"
Quote
An invitation to treat is when you invite someone to make an offer. For example, you may merely deliver information to tempt the other party to make an offer. There is generally no intention to be bound by an invitation to treat, and it does not form a legally binding contract

Only after you agree to the price by "offering" to pay for it then the legal contract is made

economic law.

No such thing exists, it’s a social science like history or women’s studies.

Case in point.

In your warped mind there’s no relationship between price and demand.

This is a terrible plan!

Higher wages means some restaurants will have to close and less new restaurants will open resulting in FEWER jobs for the very people the government is supposed to be helping.

Since there’s no connection between price and demand I guess multibillion dollar companies have sales just for sh!Ts and giggles.🤔

Because without the owners there wouldn’t be workers. Pretty simple concept.

This guy said most shrink is the result of shipping. If this is true it's a result of theft or lazy laborers.  You think lazy thieves should be paid more?

Absolutely, I think if you work for a company turning a profit on your labor, your literal life force
You as a laborer should get a larger payout.
