Why "reaganomics" didn't work for Bush
« on: January 28, 2009, 09:19:51 AM »
Today, BOTH SIDES want to give away a trillion bucks.

Repubs want to give it to us in the form of TAX BREAKS, which will help 5 million upper class much more.

Dems want to give it to us in the form of jobs and social programs, which will help 120 million lower class people much more.

We've done it the republicans' way for 8 years.  Turns out the upper class group invests it in Euros and in placing mnfg plants in China.  They don't put the $ back into the US Economy anymore.  No confidence in dollar or our mnfg base has made reaganomics obsolete.  This is the sad truth, and why the repub plan under Bush didn't work as it should have.

Thoughts?
