Which is completely perplexing.  Pelosi is the worst speaker in recent yrs.  Did you hear she wants to push another stimulus package?  Completely unacceptible.  39% approval for congress and 62% for Obama according to today's #s.

Its interesting that because so many people like the president's charisma, the popularity of his party in congress has grown.  When the dems took over congress in the 2006 elections, they suffered the lowest ratings for the last 2.5 yrs.  Dems still control congress, the only variable that has changed is the president.  A charismatic leader with fantastic presentation, marketing and control of the press.  Bush was unpopular, largely because of his lack of charisma and inability to communicate effectively with the public.  Most people don't understand what Obama is doing, only that he is convincing and commanding when he speaks.

50% of the population voted for free stuff from the U.S. treasury and see her as giving it to them.  Of course she is going to be more popular with these free-loaders.

52.9%.

And this is essentially the same congress that was about 20%, just a few months back.  Cracking 39% is a huge shift.

Bribing people works well.

This is all going to collapse very soon, and for good!  No system deserves to remain where people can vote themselves the fruits of other peoples' labor.

Um, the US system has ALWAYS been a system where ppl vote themselves the fruits of other peoples; labor.

Repubs agreed to 35% of the labor.  Dems agreed to 39% of the labor.

It's jsut a minor shift dude.

240, you must consider more than income tax.  Other taxes are being raised as well and when we get out of this recession, the most probably way of paying off some of the massive debt is by raising taxes.  Not just income taxes, all sorts of taxes.  Mark my words.  Someone has to pay for the huge government Obama and Pelosi are creating.  We cannot continue to just print $.
