A New Rochelle father is charged with assaulting his infant son, who later died.

Police say Juan Morel, 21, claimed his 5-month-old son fell on Wednesday and that's why he and the baby's mother took the boy to Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle. The hospital then notified police and after detectives questioned Morel, they concluded that the baby had been shaken. The baby died on Thursday after being put on life support.

Juan thought that he could lie his way out of it.

However, everything changed when Juan turned 19.  His beautiful daughter was born and his life turned around.  He left the streets and went to live with his parents and his daughter’s mother in the Bronx, NY.  However, by age 21, misfortune struck while Juan and his best friend were play-wrestling on the floor of his house.  Juan accidentally broke his friend’s neck and it, ultimately, resulted in the boy’s death.  If the guilt of what happened wasn’t bad enough, Juan wound up serving 4 long years in prison for his unfortunate mistake.

On the New York state inmate lookup, he's inmate #04A1861 , and it's listed as just a 2nd degree manslaughter. So, that story made good sense as a cover till you realize it's 2 seconds of Googling till you get the real story. The racism story Romano tried later is even more vomit inducing.

Exactly, because its all been removed from Google, you can find many court records and transcripts free online, Im sure teh news channel who reported about his arrest would have foillowed up with his conviction, and I have read it online in the past.

The irony to this is I know a handful of guys who were alcoholics and meth addicts, they all got involved with bbing in their 30’s, one in his 40’s, and the other 50’s and went straight on gear
