Be careful what you wish for. While he is a giant asshole, unlike Deblasio and AOC he is at least somewhat pro business and isn’t an outright Socialist. He was for the Amazon deal while AOC was instrumental in shutting it down.

The woman, Anna Ruch, told the Times that Cuomo approached her during a crowded wedding reception in New York in 2019. Ruch told the newspaper she thanked Cuomo for his toast to the newlyweds, and in response, she says he put his hand on her bare lower back, which the Times said was exposed in an open-back dress.

When Ruch removed his hand, Cuomo allegedly told her she seemed "aggressive" as he put his hands on her cheeks, she recalled to the Times. Cuomo then asked if he could kiss her, Ruch said, and she distanced herself as he came closer.

The funny thing is, years ago, when Mario Cuomo (Andrew's father) was running for mayoral candidacy, he was up against Ed Koch (a deeply closeted gay man) in the democratic primary. They sorta had a gentleman's agreement that they'd run a nice campaign. Well, Cuomo starts getting beaten, and all of a sudden flyers and posters reading "Vote for Cuomo, Not the Homo" start appearing all over Queens. Well Koch is furious, he goes to Mario, and asks him how this could happen, etc..... Mario brushes him off. Ed's pissed, and the rumor is Andrew was the one that started it, because he was a big part of his father's election campaigning. Koch privately never forgave either of them to his dying day.

There were even rumors also in the 80's that the Cuomos hired detectives to keep tabs on Koch's gay life in case he ever tried to case them trouble. It's mention in one of the biographies, I think "I, Koch".
