If he gets deemed mentally unfit to hold office, Kamala Harris will be given the keys to the kingdom. I believe that by the first 6 months of 2022 we will see a new President in the form of Harris.

I try to be very fair and impartial, but if you feel I have offended you somehow, remind me of the instance. I also have many close friends from this very site that are black (I don't think anyone's a bigger fan of Goodrum than I am).

If Biden finishes his first term, he has to win reelection, because Kamala wouldn't survive the 2024 primaries, i.e. she can't just "take over."  Picking her as VP was to give her the necessary "equity" (step up) so that she'll be the incumbent in 2024 after Biden resigns.  My repeated prediction is that Biden resigns after the mid-terms.  Democrats need to have the first female of color as president, so they won't pass up on this.

If Biden's health doesn't cooperate, he'll resign sooner.

Let me first say I think you're right, Harris was selected so she can take over while Biden was in office. But....

do we really think Biden will go peacefully into the night? The man has an ego as big, if not bigger than Trumps. His life long goal was to become President,  even at the expense of his country, and he succeeded. I dont see him stepping away willfully.

Maybe they induce a stroke or death so there is no opther option.
