You "get" to see if there are any long term effects associated with this emergency medication.
So, right now, in the absence of FDA full approval you have:
A drug only approved for emergency approval, with no long term data available, with potential lethal side effects, that doesn't prevent transmission, from a company that can't be held liable for damages, for an illness with a 99.8%+ survival rate. This is not q-anon conspiracy bullshit, just facts.
And, the narrative has changed - the vaccine no longer prevents covid, it "lessens symptoms if you get it".
Best fight against this is proper diet, sunlight and exercise - things you've decided to abandon as you got older. So yes, vax makes sense for you, but plenty of reasons it might not for others.
m-RNA therapy was 1st developed over 20 years ago by NIH. So, this wasn't anything "brand new and experimental".
The FDA just announced they are within 30 days for the final decision on giving the m-RNA FULL use approval.
When that happened , I'll bet YOUR side will still refuse and have some goofy claim it's a new GOV conspiracy .
Lastly, all those things ( exercise, diet, sunlight, etc) are great.
BUT, the best defense against getting seriously ill from covid is the vaccine.
PS/ I still train, get a nutritious diet , hike outdoors and don't drink or do any rec drugs.
