Authorities searching for Kyle Rittenhouse, ask for arrest warrant

Defense attorney Mark Richards said Rittenhouse and his family received death threats and moved to a “safe house,” that they offered to share with the court if it was kept secret from the public, according to Milwaukee ABC affiliate WISN. Prosecutors declined that offer, according to Richards.

Of course it was self-Defence. Rittenhouse, McKloskies, HR 127, School shootings, mass shootings, etc are all attacks on our 2A rights. Especially School and mass shootings, the left absolutely looooooves when there are School shootings but also notice nothing is ever said about the mass shootings in Chicago every week in a city with some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country 🤔

Protesters call for judge in Kyle Rittenhouse case to be removed

"(Judge Bruce) Schroeder needs to be removed. He needs to step down as a judge because that's despicable," said Erica Ness, head of Leaders of Kenosha. "Kyle needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and we need real change."

Ness was referring to Schroder's denial of two motions filed by prosecutors last week, which asked to increase Rittnhouse's bail by $200,000 and for an arrest warrant to be issued.

Prosecutors said both motions were necessary because Rittenhouse did not register his real address with the court.

However, Rittenhouse's defense team argued that they registered a P.O. box instead of his address for his own safety and said Rittenhouse has been receiving death threats.

After denying both motions made by the prosecution, Schroeder did require Rittenhouse to register his current address with the court but said it will be kept under seal.

Prosecutors seek to show evidence of past violence at Kyle Rittenhouse trial
They also want a judge to allow evidence that shows Rittenhouse was associated with the far-right Proud Boys, a group linked to political violence.
July 2, 2021
By The Associated Press

KENOSHA, Wis. — Prosecutors in Wisconsin want a judge to allow evidence at Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial that shows he had a previous violent encounter in Kenosha before he fatally shot two men and injured another during a police brutality protest last year.

The state’s motion filed Thursday in Kenosha County Circuit Court also seeks to show Rittenhouse was associated with the far-right Proud Boys, a group linked to political violence.

Rittenhouse, 18, is charged with killing Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, and wounding Gaige Grosskreutz, 26, on Aug. 25 during protests in Kenosha over the police shooting two days earlier of Jacob Blake, a Black man who was left paralyzed when he was shot by a white police officer.

Prosecutors want to introduce a video from July 1, 2020, which they say shows Rittenhouse striking a teenage girl in the back at Kenosha’s lakefront.

“In both the July 1, 2020 incident and the August 25, 2020 incident, the defendant, an Illinois resident, willingly and intentionally put himself in violent situations in Wisconsin that do not involve him in order to commit further acts of violence,” the motion states.

Prosecutors also said Rittenhouse’s association with the Proud Boys should be considered at the trial because it shows that he takes pride in violence.

Photos taken in January show Rittenhouse drinking inside a Mount Pleasant bar and gesturing with what appeared to be a white power symbol. The motion states that prosecutors have since learned that the people with Rittenhouse at the bar included the leader of the Wisconsin Proud Boys chapter and several of its highest-ranking members.

Prosecutors allege Rittenhouse, who is white, left his home in Antioch, Illinois, and traveled to Kenosha to answer a call for paramilitary groups to protect businesses during the protest.

Rittenhouse faces multiple charges, including two homicide counts. He has argued he fired in self-defense after protesters attacked him.

Black Lives Matter supporters have painted him as a trigger-happy white supremacist, but some conservatives see him as a symbol for gun rights and have rallied around him, generating $2 million for his bail in November.

Rittenhouse’s defense attorney did not immediately respond to a message and email seeking comment on prosecutors’ latest motion.

Rittenhouse’s trial is scheduled to start Nov. 1.

Even if the judge rules against using this at trail, it's already in the public domain.

I wonder if Chauvin's defense played the arrest video from two years ago, showing Floyd do his "Don't shoot!", Mama!", and uncooperative/non-compliant routine.

The McKloskies were armed ,on their own property ,to protect it, IF the nearby protest mob tried to vandalize it.
They didn't shoot anyone and did NOTHING wrong .

Kyle Rittenhouse drove across state lines to put himself in the middle of  a conflict .
He didn't need to be there, went fully armed  and shot 2 people.   BIG difference.

I'd say the same thing if a BLM protestor traveled to a protest , was armed and shot 2 people.

My judgement doesn't change because of politics and I tend to support the cops.

They really need to leave this kid alone.  An obvious case of self defense.  They should give that kid a medal.

Of course was. There is no other conclusion but leave it to activist prosecutors and judges to keep people from protecting themselves giving no regard to the second amendment.

There's no proof that they were rioter's or looters...just protesters.  Unless they have proof of them committing crimes then it shouldn't be allowed

The judge btw ruled that they couldn't be calked victims.  The jury can decide it and i respect the judge for letting it play out

True.  We don't know for sure if the people who attacked this kid were rioting and looting.

What we do know is this was unquestionably self-defense and a righteous shoot.  Plain as day on the video.

He was hit over the head with a skate board followed up with a guy with a gun who later said “I should have killed him” (paraphrasing). Rittenhouse had no choice also, you might want to research who these two “victims” were.

It can be argued that the guy was trying to disarm him with a skateboard after shooting and killing people.  I think he is a murderer but he's getting his day in court

A murderer? Why wasn’t anyone else targeted then? Why did he go back to give medical aid?

A murderer?  No way.  You must not have watched the clips of the shooting.  You should check them out.
