Thanks to Biden’s policies, prepare for a cold, expensive winter
American Thinker.com ^ | October 14, 2021 | Andrea Widburg

One of the wonders of the modern age is that fossil fuel allows us to avoid freezing in the winter or overheating in the summer. Climate change fanatics, however, who ignore that the Earth’s climate has cycled endlessly between hot and cold for billions of years, desperately want to return us to a pre-modern state. Their efforts are paying off, for the U.S. government is warning of a 54% increase in winter heating bills.

Upon entering the Oval Office, Biden immediately shut down the Keystone Pipeline and ended news drilling on federal lands. While Trump had brought America to energy independence and affordable energy, Biden reduced America to a vassal of oil-producing countries.

Thanks to this policy, gasoline prices keep climbing. In my neighborhood, they’ve increased by almost 78% in just nine months. The same is true everywhere.

Like all Biden policies, this is devastating for the middle and working classes for it doesn’t just make commuting more expensive, it increases the price of every single item in America. Fuel is needed for farming, manufacturing, shipping, wholesaling, and retailing. Every aspect of life becomes more expensive when fuel prices rise, with the middle and working classes bearing the ultimate burden.

All of this is in the name of fighting alleged climate change. That, of course, is a faith, not a science. We humans can pollute, and I believe we have a moral obligation to keep our environment clean and healthy, but the whole climate change theory is a joke and a bad one at that.

After Launching War On Fossil Fuels, Biden Admin Now Asking Oil And Gas Companies To Help Lower Fuel Costs
https://americanlookout.com ^ | OCT 14, 2021 | By Mike LaChance
Posted on 10/14/2021, 8:34:10 AM by Red Badger

The very first thing Joe Biden did after taking office was close down the Keystone XL Pipeline.

His administration made it clear that they were going to war with energy producing companies. Now he is asking them for help.

The Biden administration knows that everyone can see how fast gas prices are rising on his watch and they’re worried.

Reuters reported:

White House asks U.S. oil-and-gas companies to help lower fuel costs -sources

Energy costs are rising worldwide, in some cases leading to shortages in major economies like China and India. In the United States, the average retail cost of a gallon of gas is at a seven-year high, and winter fuel costs are expected to surge, according to the U.S. Energy Department. Oil-and-gas production remains below the nation’s peak reached in 2019.

The talks with energy companies touched on several issues, including prices, according to a third person familiar with the discussions. The administration has been in discussions with the oil industry over limiting methane emissions in recent months.

“We are closely monitoring the cost of oil and the cost of gas Americans are paying at the pump. And we are using every tool at our disposal to address anti-competitive practices in U.S. and global energy markets to ensure reliable and stable energy markets,” a White House official said.

U.S. crude oil recently hit $80 a barrel for the first time in seven years, as the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and their allies known as OPEC+ restrict output. The White House has discussed rising prices with top OPEC producer Saudi Arabia in recent weeks.

What would you say to Biden if you ran one of these companies?

You can't make this stuff up – from Reuters just now: White House asks U.S. oil-and-gas companies to help lower fuel costs -sources https://t.co/SMLDdM02bT

This administration is a disaster.

Flashback: Biden blamed food shortages under Trump in 2020 on 'lack of leadership'

President Joe Biden is being slammed on social media for clips circulating online from the 2020 campaign trail in which he blamed food shortages on failed leadership from then-President Donald Trump.

"We don't have a food shortage problem — we have a leadership problem," then-candidate Biden said in May of 2020 during a virtual town hall while blaming Trump for food shortages during the coronavirus lockdowns.

"We have plenty of food," Biden added. "It's being plowed under. You've got-- you're euthanizing cattle and pigs. They're out there making sure that they're pouring thousands of gallons of milk into the ground. It's not a food shortage. It's a lack of leadership-- a lack of leadership."

Biden added that if he were president at the time he would have "ordered the government to buy food from farmers and send it to food banks" and that Trump "failed to step up" by not doing that.

"I'd harness the restaurant industry to help get food to those who need it and help get millions of laid off workers back to work and the job...this is not rocket science. It's leadership."

Social media users have criticized Biden over the resurfaced remarks as inflation surged its highest in 13 while food prices for basic commodities soared and bare shelves have become more and more prevalent.

"Who knew Joe Biden could predict in 2020 what would happen in 2021?" one Twitter user wrote while another sarcastically posted, "This aged well."

The Twitter hashtag #EmptyShelvesJoe was trending on Twitter Thursday as supply chain issues have forced the Biden administration to admit that it "cannot guarantee" Americans will receive their Christmas packages on time.

This administration is a disaster of epic proportions.  Not sure if I've said this on the board already, but I thought this is what would happen when Trump was elected in 2016.  He obviously proved me wrong.  I gave Biden a clean slate in 2020 and he has been an unmitigated disaster.  Everything is in chaos:  the economy, foreign policy, the military, food, gas, the border, race relations, the pandemic, etc.  We are in deep kimchee.

Biden down to 36%, 'sinking like the Titanic'
Washington Examiner ^ | October 14, 2021 | Paul Bedard
Posted on 10/14/2021, 2:48:53 PM by

President Joe Biden’s crashing polling numbers appear to have no end as he fumbles with the border crisis, a 13-year high in inflation, and the threat of empty toy shelves on Christmas Eve.

In a new Zogby Poll just provided to Secrets, the first-year president has hit another job performance low, 36.4%.

“Our latest polling shows President Biden with a 36% positive job performance rating (excellent-15% and good-21% combined), while his negative rating is 61% (fair-19% and poor-42% combined),” pollster Jonathan Zogby of Zogby Analytics told us.

Worst of all, women are abandoning the president, followed by independents — voters critical to helping lobby for his $3.5 trillion tax-and-spending plan and $1.2 trillion infrastructure program.

Him and his administration doesn't, it's all planned and intentional. If they were so concerned with approval ratings they wouldn't keep doing the same shit and worse over and over again. One the biggest issues is the border, the majority of people want it closed, he doubles down with an additional 60K Haitian migrants coming...."unvaccinated"

Biden orders study on 'size' of Supreme Court, other possible changes amid liberal court-packing push
Fox News ^ | APRIL 9, 2021 | Marisa Schultz
Posted on 4/9/2021, 12:30:11 PM by deport

President Biden will issue an executive order Friday to form a commission to study reforms to the United States Supreme Court.

Biden, under pressure from liberals to expand the size of the high court, promised to create the commission during a "60 Minutes" interview back in October in the wake of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's death.

The 36-member commission will be bipartisan and will hold public meetings to evaluate court reforms. The new panel will have 180 days from the first meeting to complete its report of recommendations.

'Moderate' Joe Biden Has Become a Socialist Tyrant
Towhall.com ^ | October 19, 2021 | Oliver North and David Goetsch
Posted on 10/19/2021, 7:59:44 AM

As a U.S. Senator, Joe Biden was known as a political moderate. When he ran for president in 2020, he portrayed himself as the Democrats' middle-of-the-road candidate -- a man who could work with both sides of the aisle and unite Americans of all political persuasions. However, when being a moderate wasn't helping his chances of winning the nomination, candidate Biden quickly switched horses in midstream, adopting the far-left platform of socialist Bernie Sanders.

This move won him the Democrats' nomination and made him beholden to the radical left-wing of the Democrat Party. It also called into question Biden's judgment, a subject tackled quite capably by award-winning journalist Caroline Glick in her column "Joe Biden's catastrophic judgment." For example, concerning his judgment in handling the U.S. exit from Afghanistan, Glick observed Biden's judgment "was never reasoned or fact-based" and he "was catastrophically wrong." She also makes the equally valid point that once the president adopts a position, he "is unwilling to listen to counterargument" and "he will not rethink his choices or positions, even after they failed."

Although Glick's comments were directed at the president's catastrophic handling of foreign affairs, her insights apply just as directly to his domestic socialist agenda -- an agenda he pigheadedly adheres to even as it proves to be as much a disaster as the Afghanistan bug out. In foreign affairs, Biden has proven to be a bumbling incompetent. On the homefront, he has become a socialist tyrant in the mold of Hugo Chavez. We warned this would happen in our book, "We Didn't Fight for Socialism: America's Veterans Speak Up." In this book, we laid out the socialist agenda Biden would inflict on our country point by point. To date, he has checked every box on our list.

We warned how in socialist countries, government agencies are weaponized and used to suppress citizen dissent. True to form, Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland have directed the FBI to treat parents who oppose the teaching of critical race theory as domestic terrorists. As a result, this once highly respected agency is now viewed by many Americans as a bunch of jackbooted thugs. In addition to weaponizing the FBI, the president has proposed banks be required to report citizens who spend more than $600 to the IRS so the government can monitor their spending.

We warned how in socialist countries, out-of-control government spending invariably leads to raging inflation and a burdensome national debt. Not surprisingly, with Biden pushing a tax-and-spend socialist agenda, prices of essential goods and services have skyrocketed -- if you can get them at all -- and the national debt has soared to unprecedented levels. In spite of this and proving the accuracy of Glick's comments, Biden refuses to scrap his misnamed $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill, which even moderate Democrats reject.

We warned that in socialist countries, the work ethic is replaced by an entitlement mentality in which people who are perfectly capable of working instead choose to remain idle and expect the government to provide for all their needs. With Biden pushing a socialist agenda in which Americans of prime working age are paid "stimulus" dollars as part of the misnamed American Rescue Act, people are choosing to stay home rather than work. The president's socialist policies have created the unprecedented phenomenon known as the "great walkout" in which working-age citizens are simply walking off their jobs and staying home.

America is feeling the pain of this problem in every sector of our economy.
