LOL how times have changed.
When I was in the fashion industry I actually used to smoke a carton of CAMEL a week.
I gave up in 1992 but I still miss it sometimes

So, what'd you do in the fashion industry?  

A lot of things.
I was in the production side mainly, we did costume jewelery, trims for top of the range handbags, belts etc.
I also did production designing and ran the factory floor, business lunches, functions and parties where also a massive part of my job.
I was also involved in the leather side of operations for a while, jackets, nappa sashes, belts etc.

I also had my own small business on the side that catered to the punk and heavy metal side of things but I had to shut it down after my partner ran off with all the money.
I was in the industry for four years.

I now fix container cranes for a living

 That sounds like it was a cool and always interesting job.

   You did a 180 in your careers it sounds like!
