I have a visible lump in my front right delt. The first time I ever noticed it was when I dieted down for a show 2 years ago. It doesn't move around as if it were some fatty deposit. It's about the circumference of a dime. I also have one on my left bicep but it seems a bit larger.
They don't really hurt even if you press around on them. Any ideas of what these could be? :'(

change injection sites.
Ok seriously, do you notice any loss of strngth or motion? maybe a tear in the muscle fascia causing something similar to a hernia

The lump you have could be an epitrochlear lymph node. Lipomas and neuromas and other-omas can also produce similar lumps. Pulsatile lumps are usually vascular. Sebaceous cysts are usually adherent to skin but not underlying tissue. there are different sorts of Lipomas, some are small, hard and encapsuled others are a bit bigger, softer and not encapsuled.
Lipomas aren't dangerous, but you should go to a doc and get it checked just to make sure what it is.

Thanks Migs, for that info....as I've been researching, I keep falling on sarcomas which kind of make me want to cry a bit. But the Lipoma info gives me some hope :)
I think I will go to the doc though. :)

yeah anytime you say lumps, cancer immediatly comes to mind. But since you made no mention of family history i think lipomas are more likely. I hope. Keep us informed

There has been a lot of cancer in the family, but it's mainly colon cancer.

I had a nurse look at them and she didn't seem too concerned. I have an annual appt. coming up w/my doc and will have her look at them too.
Thanks Migs :)

Went to a doc who said they are probably fine but he sent me to a surgeon for a biopsy. The surgeon looked at them at the consultation and said he was "100% positive they were benign." No slicing needed :D
Thanks Migs and Jr. Yates!
And thanks for your thoughtfulness too JediKnight >:(
