Tbf he can seem to bring his waist down when needed but structurally he's always gonna struggle with a thick midesction.

Does that matter?

Off or on the the stage he would still have a huge bloated midsection.

Maybe not for an audience to scrutinize, but it`s not what a bodybuilder should look like...........just my opinion.

They have to fatten up the cow to carve off a steak comparing a bulking bodybuilder from today to a stage contestant from the 80s isn't a fair comparison at least show them both in shape. Haney also never had 23 inch arms on a 5foot7 frame

That’s Haney in the “ off season “   ( this pic is Haney onstage) look I like Nick Walker but he def has to watch it and trim that waistline .. (he’s only 5 ft 7” … he doesn’t need to be any bigger! He is blowing out his mid section by doing so …

Personally I have always found Lee Haney to be the right medium he was the first mass monster and last Vacuum Olympian but his waist is genetics he had small hips like Sergio. Walker could never look like Haney. You can only work with your genetics. Walker has to play the mass game. Flex Wheeler would never look like Nasser no matter what he takes or how he trains and vice versa. Most guys are either big and blocky big wrist big waist endo or smaller with good lines ecto. Ronnie and Haney both had the attributes of both which is why they were unbeatable in their prime.  But make no mistake prime Haney falls to prime Ronnie. Not to be racist but you just don't see white guys as often with that small hip ratio like Haney or Wheeler. Jay Cutler was never going to be a structure guy same with Walker they have to play the mass game.
