...I've gotten a lot weaker on my bench after not doing it for a long time :-[

Nobody knows wtf is going on, parts of CA are supposed to wear masks, parts aren't. Some stores enforce masks, some don't. Most people I encounter don't care, they just want to live. Fuck masks!

Today was the first time I've been at the gym where the staff was really busting chops about masks.


....Of course this idiot high school boy was walking around in a button down dress shirt unbuttoned completely but that was ok ::)

I've been very consistent for awhile now, 5 days a week,plus cardio, and stretching.
Started stretching every morning back in the spring and it's been a huge difference especially in golf.

Had to take a three-week break from lifting.  Stuck doing just cardio.  That really sucked.  First day back today.

Three mile walk with the dog at 0-dark thirty, followed by 30 minute Peloton ride.  Those things are intense.

Monday is chest/tricep day.  Scaled back version due to the layoff.  This afternoon: 

Barbell bench - 7 sets
Pushups - 100 reps.  Took a bunch of sets to get there.  lol
Pec dec - 3 sets
Dips - 3 sets
Seated dips - Hoist - 6 sets
rope pull downs - 3 sets

I only train each body part one day a week.  Typically 12-16 sets per body part.   I'm also old school.  I bench, squat, and deadlift every week.
