I guess lots of people have different definitions of what gay means, but I beg to differ on dudes who did some weird shit when they were younger and have basically straight identities throughout their lives (Sprague, Birdsong, Drasin, Rick Wayne, etc. Tinnerino may have pimped some men along with the women at one point in time but I have never heard anyone call him gay before. Then there are ones like Tony Pearson who I thought were straight and have now been informed is basically gay like Ergas, Dickerson, Paris, Morris, etc.

If you're willing to get rock hard for the enjoyment of men, if you're willing to jerk it, spread cheeks, etc.... you're gay enough or at least have the potential to be turned if the money or situation was right.
I think most straight guys here ascribe to the "build one bridge" theory of gayness :). Heck a lot of the older gays I know do too.

If “build one bridge” means you are one or the other END OF STORY, then you are correct that, to me, that is total BS. I grant you that, in this time and place, the majority of heterosexuals are exclusively heterosexual and the majority of homosexuals are exclusively homosexual. However, huge numbers of exceptions abound (especially among women).

At local shows, fans are STRAIGHT. Maybe shows in SF, New York could be an exception. Even PRO show fans are hugely straight.

They had apartments, cars and money but no one worked. This was pre supplement contracts. You would have to wonder if they were hustling to make ends meet.

I dated a girl for almost a year who played both sides of the field. Took turns dating men and women. Said the same thing, men are better for physical attraction, but women were better "lovers".

I agree. I've been drawn to tits in particular big tits since elementary school. I have gay relatives, friends, etc and am not the least bit repulsed by their personal business. But, the thought of me doing anything as pertains to a cock or hairy asshole absolutely makes me want to puke.

It's the short and long term effects of party drugs, even smoking a lot potent weed. Warps the mind and gets people doing deviant shit (relative to their sexuality) I'm not anti drugs, just stating my own personal observations.

The bodybuilding life style doesn't work well with employment. I always wondered how all these famous bodybuilders in 70's and early 80's never seem to have a job. They had apartments, cars and money but no one worked. This was pre supplement contracts. You would have to wonder if they were hustling to make ends meet.
I don't agree at all. Ppl r just lazy. You can be a pro and work.. it's been done in the past. There have been firefighters., cops, business owners. They just don't want to work a real job

Yes I have. And I actually agree with you that it is standard fare and in no way tags those involved as the least bit gay. But even so…. ask a person on the street, or even better a psychologist. Some people would say there is something odd about that imagery.
