Hyprocrital FLEX mag, Team Flex: BITE MY BALLS

Just finished reading that piece of crap Hard Times article in the recent FLEX regarding the Titus Ryan debacle.

FULL of hypocrisy....taking potshots at the two faces who basically sold more FLEX mags over the years than most!   How many swimsuit issues, training articles....until Titus left for MD that is.

The article goes on to speak in "I told ya so!" undertones, taking shots at the after parties, their 'sneering' hosts, and the "underbelly" of a "sport" that needs to be exposed and healed.

What shite!  After parties were the LEAST of the bad PR regarding drugs in this 'sport'...and to basically write of the two as guilty right off the bat just smacks of prejudice against the couple...YET, months prior, you've got an article about friggin' Betil Fox, CONVICTED double murderer, asking readers to "consider" his side!

I wonder if FLEX will offer Titus and Ryan the same treatment.  I think not!  Fucking hypocrites!

Yes, FLEX's "holier than thou" attitude is very annoying. Also, I'm tired of Peter McGough, insulting their readers every month, with his editorials about how bodybuilding success is all about genes and not drugs ::). Sure, very few people would ever look like Dorian or Ronnie, irespective of the amount of drugs they take. Fine! This does not change the fact, though, that Ronnie an Dorian would carry some 70 or 80 lbs less mass, if they were completely clean. While their flow and taper of muscle is the result of their genes-and some of their mass, too-, most of their monstrous mass is IMPOSSIBLE to be achieved, without anabolics of all kinds. Sorry, but there are no genes that can make a man carry 100 lbs more of lean mass than the average man! No gene would allow for such an incredible degree of protein synthesis! >:(

I wouldn't go so far as to have FLEX be completely 'honest' about the steroids.  But at that expense, you'd think they'd be a bit more even in their treatment of all issues bodybuilding, especially of two of their 'previous' own.

If you read a lot of FLEX, they occasionally do make admissions of the steroids required....just not directly.

And if they were really out in the open about not only the genetics but the chemicals it took to compete then they'd be killing the sport for all, and sales would plummet.  They can't do it.  MD barely does it!  For all their talk and pussyfooting around steroids, RARELY do they talk about steroid use in the detail some readers would like for the EXACT same reasons FLEX doesn't.   I still think it's pathetic how they're portraying the Titus couple though....and pen the article by "Team Flex" so we can't call out the actual writers for who they are.  The only time FLEX even MENTIONS after parties in it's pages and they wait till NOW to talk about it.  And I'm sure more than a few of their staff attended these parties and had a great "excessive" time.

Ok. Since you use the words "bodybuilding" and "sport" in the same sentence, I  think there's nothing left to discuss. ::)
