as he made any public statements about that shooting in which his friend ended up dead and he was cleared of any wrongdoing, even though he was holding the gun?

I don't make fun of Layne. Never have. He seems to be an educated guy who is working with what he has.
Marcus Haley got drunk and shot his friend in the face with a shotgun on accident, killing the man. He was not charged under Florida law, which for some reason does not hold someone responsible for gun accidents while under the influence.
I just wanted to see if all the trouble had messed up his precontest prep or if maybe he had made any public statements about the incident.
