My aunt did not get the vaccine due to personal beliefs.

Got Covid and recovered in 5 days. Said it was like a mild flu.

I recently spent the day with a colleague who was symptomatic (unbeknownst to me at the time) and tested positive later that same evening. I was driving around in the same car as her, drinking coffee together, hugged her goodbye, etc. There's no way to draw any meaningful conclusions but I was sure I'd test positive, too. Four tests later and I'm still absolutely fine.

I may well have caught it ages ago and never known, meaning I now have natural antibodies. Or it may be that wearing a mask actually did prevent me catching it. No way of knowing unless I do an antibody test, and I can't really be assed.

I've not been vaccinated yet primarily due to concerns over individual risk/benefit. I suffer from migraines (which can make one more susceptible to clots) and I've had allergic reactions to medicines in the past, so I didn't want to get vaccinated (with a Chinese vaccine) in developing countries with a terrible standard of healthcare.

I'm back in Europe now for a week, so I'll discuss things with a doctor soon. I've not yet been forced to get the vaccine, and I travel all the time, so I should perhaps get an antibody test just to see if I did ever contract it without knowing.

If you’re referring to monoclonal antibodies as long as you’re within 10 days of infection just about anyone can get it. My wife and I were out of day 10 day infection period by like 3 days

Time will tell but in the meantime most deaths and severe illnesses are in those not vaccinated.

It's a shame you don't understand politics in the 3rd world. Providing an angry populace with a cheap and readily available placebo was better than turning them away from hospitals and giving them nothing.

Add more context - most  are also overweight and have multiple co-morbities.
