A new report released on Wednesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed that unvaccinated people who recovered from COVID-19 were better protected than those who were vaccinated and not previously infected during the recent delta surge.

The researchers evaluated the data from 1.1 million Covid-19 cases among adults in California and New York (which account for 18% of the U.S. population) from May 30 to Nov. 20, 2021.

The study was divided into four groups of adults aged 18 above: 1) unvaccinated with no previous laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis, 2) unvaccinated with a previous COVID-19 diagnosis, 3) vaccinated (14 days) with no previous COVID-19 diagnosis, and 4) vaccinated with a previous COVID-19 diagnosis.

No vax was 29 times lower v. 32.5 times and 14.7 times lower v. 19.8 times. 

29 v. 32.5 or 14.7 v. 19.8.  It's not much of a difference with the vax.  It's most all from the prior infect.  Also, it's plain bullshit that this can be calculated with such precision.

It's even worse than they're reporting.  As you can see they don't really know if someone in Category 1 actually had Covid, just a "laboratory confirmed" diagnosis.  So someone who had it and never got tested or who tested positive on a home test would not be counted.  There are a huge number in that category.  Huge, but even under this study it shows that natural immunity is much better than a "vax"

What's your source because this sentence is nowhere in the article you cited.

"The CDC also highlighted that the study took place before omicron became the dominant variant in the U.S. and before the impact of booster shots could be adequately measured."

Meaning that the study is does not take into consideration current conditions.
