I guess I see both sides, but I certainly don’t celebrate the downfall of Ukraine just because journalists on the left seem to be more pro Ukraine. I think they have a subconscious pushback against what they see as someone "telling" them to support one side over another when we're on the other side of the globe and there are world conflicts in multiple continents. Why should we care so much about this particular one?

There might also be some idea that Biden had business dealings with Ukraine and supporting them is somehow supporting that side's corruption.

Personally, I don't care too much either way. I don't think Putin is a good guy, but I get why he wouldn't want NATO on his doorstep. Just like we didn't want Soviet missles in Cuba. I also think that Ukraine is an independent country and shouldn't be invaded and should defend itself. But if they need help Europe should help them. When we pick sides we screw things up. We've been meddling in the middle east and Afghanistan and I think those places are all worse off due to our interference.
