As it happens, I work at eBay. And one of their policies is:

For example: a listing of the farm where Ed Gein committed his atrocities was recently taken down for being "murderabilia" - as the Trust & Safety department calls it. [Love that word. :) ]
Of course, Titus/Ryan are presumed innocent until proven guilty - and this item is not directly related to the crime they are charged with. So this may get a pass.
But it may not. So if you go to that link and the auction isn't there any more, you'll know why.

Those filthy Asian fuckers sent me a busted-ass Dell and then got mad when I called them on it. The machine was DOA.

But if you came into Live Chat and asked what happened to a listing of Sesame Street baby decals you were bidding on, and your account record showed that you were a 25 year old man, I couldn't promise that the customer support representative wouldn't share a snicker over you with the person who sits next to them.

And as soon as they stuck their grubby little fingers into the mix, then large, print media outlets began targeting Craigslist for litigation, citing that CL was not held to the same standards as they with respect to things like housing ads.
It's going to get a lot dirtier before the situation improves.

eBay - even with the constant 'fee creep' was still a solid service until they bought Paypal.
Together, you guys have managed to steal several hundred thousand dollars (possibly millions, I don't know) from mom-n-pop merchants.
I'm eager for the next great auction site to emerge and to at least force you guys to go back to fair business practices...the ones you had to rely on when you were an upstart and trying to get everyone to trust you.

It's up to $3100, but the reserve hasn't been met. I wonder what the reserve is? It really doesn't matter how much they paid for this new, there's an upper limit on how much someone is gonna pay for used gym equipment, especially when they have no recourse against the seller if it's junk. Plus, if you don't live within driving distance of Vegas, it's pointless to bid on it. Someone setting up a home gym is gonna have a maximum budget in mind (far less than the equipment's "value"), and commercial gyms will only buy new. The other side of the coin is you're dealing with highly "motivated sellers". Whoever is storing it I'm sure wants it gone, and Craig's lawyers want their damn money. Even if the reserve isn't met, they might let it go to the highest bidder anyway.

There's no way they get their reserve on this auction. 99% of people who set reserves on ebay are delusional about the value of used goods.
Besides, it will be more interesting and fun when they sell off the items one by one.

Craig had the following customizations done to these machines:
1. Low Row – 340 pound weight stack instead of 300.
2. Lat Pulldown – 340 pound weight stack instead of 300.
3. Rear Delt/Pec Fly – 325 pound weight stack instead of 275.
4. Cable Crossover/Functional Trainer – 200 pound weight stacks each side instead of 160.
5. Leg Curl/Extension Combo – 250 pound weight stack instead of 230 plus added range of motion for a greater stretch.

A lot of this size will take some time to sell at a reasonable price. It'd be smarter to run the auction a few times to get the word out, or sell it to one of the gym equipment bulk re-sellers otherwise the price could be insanely low.
Some of the gyms in the area might be interested in all or some of it.

I don't think labeling it Craig Titus and Kelly Ryan's Gym is helping matters.
You don't sell a house by advertising it as "the house where a murder occurred."
Generally speaking, the personal objects of a murderer decrease value, unless it's their artwork.

On the contrary, I think there are definitely people out there that would love to say that their home gym is the same one Craig and Kelly had at home in Vegas.
Even a real hardcore Titus fan would simply love to train on the same equipment as Craig did for his last few shows.
I had a Valeo II belt that I used for almost ten years that I treasured because Dorian had used it once - through a back workout at my gym in Pasadena at the time.
