Its been 3 decades since Lee Haney was crowned the first National champ, and that was the start of amateur bodybuilding's greatest tradition. The "Nationals" has since served as a launch pad for an impressive list of pro careers, from Bob Paris and Gary Strydom to Mike Francois, Victor Martinez and Toney Freeman.
